Celebrating Women Luthiers is an International Exhibit featuring the finest female makers in the world. These instruments and their bows are all hand-crafted in the tradition of the great makers.
From March 17th to May 7th, our instruments and bows toured from Atlanta to Virginia to Vermont hosted by three reputable shops in the United States:
Huthmaker Violins (Atlanta, GA) March 17-26, 2022
Brobst Violins (Alexandria, VA) April 1-16, 2022
Vermont Violins (South Burlington, VT) April 25- May 7, 2022
It was a most rewarding experience to see in person again my great colleagues and dear friends: Sofia Vettori, Daniela Gaidano, and Stephanie Voss.
I also had the privilege to meet and play with Mr. Gerald Brobst, as well as to share unforgettable moments with his lovely family at the shop and at his place.
The grand finale of the touring will consist of a wine tasting hosted by Dedalus wine shop to celebrate women in winemaking. Let’s pair wine and instruments!
At Brobst Violins I also had the privilege to listen to two of my violins and one of my violas in this performance by The String Quartet of Northern Virginia. Here is an excerpt:
